Traditionally, working with sensitive information has required the creation of Restricted Access Area (RAA): shielded physical spaces where every device and procedure is strictly controlled to prevent information leaks.

However, in a digitalized world, physical security is no longer enough. Electronic equipment emits electromagnetic signals that can be intercepted from the outside—a critical risk that TEMPEST regulations seek to mitigate.

Until now, complying with these standards involved heavy infrastructure, high costs, and operational rigidity that hindered the agility required in critical environments.

What is the EP3520?

The EP3520 is a Tempest Multi-Client Station designed to protect the electronic environment where classified information is processed. Its goal is to prevent emissions from being intercepted, allowing for maximum security without relying exclusively on a full physical TEMPEST infrastructure.

This solution not only reduces technical complexity but also optimizes costs and facilitates the deployment of secure workstations wherever they are truly needed.

Key System Features

The EP3520 has been developed to provide a seamless user experience without compromising security:

  • Full TEMPEST Certification: Ideal for physical locations with minimal electromagnetic security requirements (Zoning 0).
  • Multi-Client Capability: Allows for the configuration of up to 4 simultaneous workstations.
  • Integrated Cryptography: Includes a certified encryptor (models EP430T or EP960, depending on the required classification level) for secure IP communications.
  • Certified Peripherals: Each workstation features a monitor (with video camera), keyboard with smart card reader, and mouse—all with Tempest certification.
  • High Availability: Designed to provide uninterrupted 24-hour service.
  • Scalability: EP3520 stations can be connected to each other via fiber optics to expand the number of workstations.
