EP430GN
The EP430GN is a high speed IP encryption device which allows the
deployment of virtual private networks (VPN) over IP public networks, such as the Internet, in an absolute secure way.
It disposes of a communications platform with two security domains physically separated (red network and black network), communicated through a removable cryptographic module.
At every start up, the software executed in the communications platform is downloaded from the cryptographic module, being this the one that provides the final functionality of the equipment.
Reliable Security
- Owner operation mode equivalent to IPSec in tunneling mode.
- Operation on the OSI layer 3.
- All traffic is encapsulated and encrypted in UDP datagrams.
- 24 hours uninterrupted service.
Connectivity
- It disposes of two (2) ethernet interfaces with military connectors MIL-C-26482, one for LAN connection and the other one for WAN connection.
- Physical level: 1000 Base-X over multimode fiber.
- Link level: Ethernet IEEE 802.3.
- It disposes of two (2) interfaces for console connection with military connectors MIL-C-26482, one for the RED area and the other one for the BLACK area.
Configuration
- Operating always in ENCRYPTED mode, it does not support the clear mode.
- It allows to configure the red and black area parameters with physical access to the device through independent console ports, both accessible at the front panel.
